Creueta Alta
Creueta Alta is the most characteristic element of the mountain of Creueta Alta, a mountain that has this name for being crowned at its top by an iron cross. If we continue the route through Iberian Settlement (Poblat Ibèric) and climb the mountain to the highest point, we will arrive at Creueta Alta.
According to the tradition of Antella, it is said that when a person or a group of people arrive at the Creueta Alta, they have to sound the sound sticking against the creueta with a stone or any element that can embedding a metal, and can feel it from the entire population of Antella.
Tradition tells that when people felt this sound say: “Look, someone is in la Creueta.
From Creueta Alta the views are admirable and it is worth stopping for a few minutes to enjoy them. In addition, from the Creueta Alta you can also see towns such as Antella, Cotes, Alcántara de Júcar and Gavarda, as well as the Xúquer running from the Assut d’Antella, next to the House of the floodgates (Casa de les Comportes).
