The Palace Tower (Torre del Palau) is the only historical element that persists from what was the castle-manor house of the Territorial Lord of Antella. Also known as the Arab Tower (Torre Àrab) of Antella and considered an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Cultural Heritage Law 4/98.

(Casa del Rei)

King’s House (Casa del Rei), located in Plaça del Rei, was built during the first half of the 18th century by the Duke of Híjar in order to celebrate events related to the operation of the institution, such as the General Meetings of the Community.

House of the floodgates

(Casa de les Comportes)

The House of the floodgates (Casa de les Comportes) is the necessary infrastructure to regulate the flow of water from the Xúquer river to the ditch. It was built in 1732 with the aim of placing the two floodgates inside, which, when raised, allowed the water of the Xúquer river to pass to the “Acequia Real del Júcar”.

Church of the Immaculate Conception

(Església de la Puríssima Concepció)

Archbishop Juan de Ribera ordered in 1574 that masses in Antella be celebrated in the town’s church, which was attached to that of Cárcer. Thus, a chaplaincy dedicated to the Immaculate Conception was founded, becoming the first church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary.

Hermitage of Christ of the Agony

(Ermita del Crist de l’Agonia)

The hermitage of Antella is a hermitage dedicated to the Holy Christ of the Agony, since according to tradition, the fifth baron of Antella, Vicent Castellví, saw the Christ appear in the palace chapel and told him to place his image in the hermitage which had to be built at the foot of the mountain.
